AC/DC Columbus Concert reviews
Going To School!
This is the best concert I have seen in that last 3 three years. And I"m a pretty seasoned concert goer. I must admit that I'm not a hard-core AC/DC and going to the show was more of a 'get them off my bucket list' deal. I was there to hear my five to seven songs and take in the rest. The band, especially Angus, were in top form. His antics were just amazing. Love the signature school boy outfit, and his guitar playing was top notch. The only hiccup by him was not crispy getting the intro to Thunderstruck down, but I'll chalk that up to arthritis. Otherwise, his guitar playing was great. Stage highlights: a descending and pealing bell during 'Hell's Bells', a balloon woman during on the other songs, Angus using the elevated circle at the front of the stage and getting showered with confetti, him playing the guitar with his tie, losing bits of the uniform throughout the show, playing a fifteen minute solo atop the stage, and a battery of cannons (yes they were actually fired) brought during the encore's last song- For Those About Rock...' . It was breath-taking. Axel Rose, guesting on vocals, worked. He know all the words, and engaged the crowd quite well. All in all a great show.
